It’s just been three days.

I went to my primary care today which went fantastically well, and she assured me three days after having a tooth pulled, pain is normal. It certainly affects the sleep, unfortunately. I remember staying up two days straight in my twenties and being fine. Now, I get three hours, and I’m dragging. Forty-five is catching up with me.
How many hours do you need to be rested? Do you actually get it?

@AmbiePam I rarely sleep well, but with cutting out a lot of sugar and salt in my diet and being more physically active things have improved of late. And meditation on scripture has also helps “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety” Ps 4:8

You know honestly, I am not sure. Last night I woke up at 3 something and I am not sure how much I slept after that. I don't remember sleeping at all, but I probably dozed off. I feel fine though like I have had enough sleep..even though solid sleep was probably only between 11 and 3.

I'm 62. I still go a day or two without sleep, often. But I'm Bipolar, so it's normal. Nothing like a little pain to disrupt sleep, though!
