Another Painting by Me

Recently, I visited one of my old units and was pleasantly surprised to see one of my old paintings which I had gifted to the unit displayed in the officer’s lounge. This was the painting which I had made years back, in my spare time, when I had been detailed to work with the helicopter unit of the army. The painting shows Indian gunners operating the howitzer. I had watched similar action in real life and it's a moment which cannot be forgotten. Painting has been my hobby along with writing and I'm glad that I could spend my time in a worthwhile manner. I hope my friends like this painting. I have tried to capture the spirit of the gunners who operate the 25 pounders. During World War II, this was the standard weapon of the artillery. Friends life has been exciting and maybe in due course of time I will display you some more of my paintings.
