A Random Conversation After Church

After church today, a few friends and I were just chatting when the conversation somehow turned to how much our thinking has changed over the years. One friend said, “These days, I’d rather keep quiet than argue with someone who has already made up their mind.” That sparked quite a debate because everyone had a different experience to share. It got me thinking about how some lessons only make sense after we’ve lived through them. What’s something you believe differently about life now than you did before?

I no longer feel the need to prove I’m right when someone insists I’m wrong. I don’t care if it’s easy to prove I’m right. I no longer care enough to bother.

Wow, I like your perspective. Sounds to me like a person speaking from a point of peace.

As we age, we get wiser because of the experiences we have . I don't argue anymore too..

I agree, sometimes silence prevent real damage from happening. But its also good not to hold too much.
