The month of Sawan is currently going on in India, today is the last Monday of which is called Sawan Somwar. The month of Sawan is considered very special in India, this month is called the month of Lord Shiva. Apart from spiritual significance, this month is also special for nature. Rain and greenery are visible everywhere. New plants and crops grow in the fields. Nature, in a new form, gives you peace and tranquility. We celebrate the month of Sawan with nature, especially in villages.

There is something very peaceful about seeing everything turn green after the rain, especially the fields and new plants. I can understand why Sawan has such a special place in people’s lives beyond its religious importance.
