I'm a sports fans, especially college sports and interested to see if others follow college sports and the current wild west of player NIL deals? I heard on the news today that college players who made themselves eligible for the NFL draft, didn't make a team and now want to go back and play again in college for whatever remainder eligible years they have left.
My questions is what are your thoughts on NIL in general, are there any new rulings regarding NIL and what are your opinions of NIL for college athletes?
I think it is long overdue, but players playing until the age of 25 sounds ridiculous to me as there comes a point where there should be hard cut off.
Any thoughts on where NIL will head in the future with potential court rulings?
College sports seem to be going towards a pro level set up, yet these players re still amateurs. Curious to hear your thoughts.

I was shocked when I heard about the NFL players going back to college. Of course, sleazy Lane Kiffin was at the forefront of that situation. It’s getting ridiculous with the NIL, and I’m not sure what they can do about it. I mean, a salary cap sounds like a good idea, but of course, the big schools don’t want that.

Lane Kiffin is a snake no doubt. What I found interesting is the colleges actually voted against allowing players to come back, which goes against what their coaches were wanting. And it was big football conferences like the SEC that were against players returning while their coaches were wanting the players to have the ability to return.
Things seem to be getting worst with NIL with 7th year seniors, NIL earnings continue to climb and basically still few rules of how to keep things fair. Players will bounce around from school to school and its more and more like a professional sports and less about amateur sports and players choosing to play at a particular school to get an education.
