So, I was going to take Nico to the vet on Tuesday, he has some concerning behaviors but at the moment he is seeming pretty normal, nothing weird going on. I called to confirm the Tuesday appointment earlier, and mentioned he would need sedation. Believe me at the vets office he is a holy terror as he only likes to be petted in the first place if he is comfortable and it is his idea. The vets office does a lot more than that.and it sure as Hell would not be his idea to be there. Anyway, I was talking to them and mentioned the sedation and the guy was saying well usually with new patients we try our best without it. I told them it would not be wise, and I would not advise that. Yeah, that would just be perfect if he started biting or scratching people. Anyway, thinking about all this is making me want sedation. I think I am going to have to change that appointment anyway. It is going to be much too hot, and my car AC is not good.

They are professionals. They should know how to handle Nico ..I don't think you should worry about that

Believe me it wouldn't work without sedation. He isn't vicious when he is not under stress..but he would be there. They wouldn't touch him at the other vets office until he was sedated.

@snowy22315 I understand you. You know Nico more than anyone else. I hope they take your advice though.

If there’s a pool of blood from where Nico scratched everyone you can always say, “I warned you, didn’t I?”
