It seems to be cooperating, now...

Hello, all!
I've been home for about two and a half hours. My computer hasn't been cooperating, though it would let me do one thing, it wouldn't let me get online.
After my previous post, (and I got rides set up) I got a text for the boss-that's-filling-in-for-my-boss asking if I could come in.
O-kay.
I couldn't say "no", as I needed the work, but then I had to re-set up my rides to my appointment, as my pick up place was going to be different.
I did that as I was heading to the bus stop so I could go to the train station. Part of the call was while I was on the bus, which wasn't fun because the bus is really noisy--and I mean the bus itself, not people talking on the bus.
So, I worked for maybe four hours, then the next thing I knew it was time to leave, and wait for the Lyft to take me to my appointment. This time I got outside in time.
I went to my appointment, which was in a Kaiser Permanente building. I am not a Kaiser member, and for numerous reasons, I do not like Kaiser in the least.
I had no idea where I was supposed to go, and the people at the desk were no help at all. Finally I ran into another lady who showed me the direction to go, and by that time my therapist was waiting for me at the end of the hall. My appointment lasted about an hour, and I think it went well. After that I waited ten or fifteen minutes for my ride home.
When I got home I went to get the mail, which was some papers from work and some ads.
My computer decided to let me go on line finally, so here I am.
I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

I am happy for you that your computer is working once again and that your appointment with your therapist went well.

No, she didn't tell me. Guess I have to wait and see.

I call my desktop PC Hank and he seems to be rather slow in this tropical weather so I am hoping September will bring much cooler days,
