The sister and the prodigal brother

I came across a family where the father built a massive Empire with property, factories, and landed assets. Unfortunately, he passed away very early and left behind a young man and a sister. I have known this family, but I have watched the young man for years; he refused to work and spent all that time slowly selling off his father's hard-earned properties and income, and in the end he became bankrupt. I sometimes wonder how one can be so silly, but later I realized that his sister was always in awe of him and was praising him all the time instead of advising him to conserve the property, expand it, and do some work; well, that is life. It has many shades, and this is another color of the panorama of life.

It’s a sad but powerful example of how wealth can be lost when there is no guidance, discipline, or sense of responsibility. Inheriting a fortune can sometimes be more difficult than building one, because the person who inherits it may not understand the sacrifice and hard work that created it. The sister’s constant praise may have unintentionally encouraged him rather than helping him see the reality of his choices. It really does show that life has many shades, and sometimes the greatest inheritance is not property or money, but the wisdom to preserve and grow what has been entrusted to us.

I think we should track back to the record how did the father taught them/him in the past. The father didnt prepare him to continue the business

Wow, I'm going through a difficult situation right now. I can not imagine being left with all that opportunity and then wasting it and losing it all. All my life, I have had to work hard. He didn't work hard for the money, so he spent it without much discretion. Nonetheless, with money, you can always make more money with a good strategy.

That’s really sad. I think having wealth is not enough if you don’t know how to manage it. Sometimes people also need someone close to them who is willing to give honest advice, not just praise them. It’s a hard lesson, but definitely a reminder that money can disappear very quickly.
