What A Hot Month

Typically we enjoy a nice cool down this time of the year. And we had that last week and a bit the week before. But yesterday, as September began, so did the hot spell. We had a very hot and humid day both yesterday as well as the last day of August. Today the feels like temperature will be 41C, that is very unpleasant. I am glad that the schools are not yet open, although they all have a/c in them these days. With so much of the population who suffer from asthma and other breathing issues, it is mandatory. Today I am going over to a friend's place for a visit. She really wanted to have me over in July around my birthday, but I had the week before that off for vacation.
