What's for breakfast? September 2nd, 2026

We actually had time to go to Hardee’s this morning. Not only the time, but the opportunity to go to Hardee’s. I don’t know about where you are, but there aren’t very many Hardee’s left near us, which is unfortunate because they are THE best place in the fast-food world to get breakfast. They’re the only place where I actually believe the claims they make that the biscuits are freshly made every morning. Anyway, we got to sit down and eat after dropping the child off at school, and it was delightful. Chris got a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, hash browns, and a sweet tea. I had a fully loaded omelet biscuit, hash browns, and a Sprite. So, that was breakfast. What did you have?

That’s too heavy of a meal for how hot it is. I would be sick.

I had granola and ham. I don't know when I was last at Hardee's. I always go to Arby's when I am on the road, as we don't have them here in the Bay Area.

(I’m in the waiting room at the dentist.) I love Hardee’s. We don’t have any near us anymore though. I had a piece of baked chicken for breakfast.

This is the only one we have that I'm willing to drive to. There's another one about an hour away.
