I have to get over all of this medical stuff quickly because I have a trip planned for October
This trip is solo for just me to Malta which requires a long flight which is what I think caused these swollen legs
I will ask the doctor if it’s okay for me to travel when I see her in two weeks.
And of course I want to take my first ferry trip from Malta to Sicily.
Do you have any travel plans coming up?

@looeyville I really hope you’re fit to travel. To where in Europe do you fly? Temperatures ought to be quite benign by October. We head home in the morning. My flying points will take me to Turin, Rome, Paris, Brussels or Vienna for free in December. My preference is for Istanbul but I’d have to pay for that flight. I adore South West Sicily. I’ve watched the Commissario Montalbano detective series on TV.

@LooeyVille I suppose I’m fortunate being no more than 4 hours direct flying from Dublin to most of Europe.

You're asking a recluse, and no, even if I did go out, I have no finances to travel. I hope you'll enjoy your trip to Malta. I have written about the country on other sites

Just now
I hope everything gets sorted quickly so you can enjoy your Malta trip without worrying about the medical side of things. A solo trip sounds lovely, and that first ferry crossing to Sicily should make it even more memorable! The Malta–Sicily ferry is only around 1 hour 45 minutes, so that sounds like a fun little adventure.
I do not have any travel plans myself, but if I could choose, I would definitely be tempted by Malta. Hopefully your doctor gives you the all-clear and you get to enjoy every minute of the trip!
