Tomorrow is an early release day.
Why?
I don't know. Because Monday is no school because it's labor day.
But anyway. On a normal day he child gets out at 245. She child gets out at 330. So we have time to grab he child if we need to and then go pick up she child. However on early release days, they get out at the same time. Which is a little harder to plan for.
So I asked both kids if they wanted to go to school. Neither of them wanted to go. So I scored points, becuase we told them they could stay home.
Which means, it doesn't matter what time I go to bed tonight. I get to sleep in tomorrow!

@thislittlepennyearns - No, my mother wasn't going to home school me. She couldn't wait to get me out of the damn house.
I was one of those weird kids that liked school, though. I never skipped for the sake of skipping, if I stayed home I was actually sick.

She child has changed her mind, she wants to go to school.
But he child will end up playing video games I'm sure.
It's Friday though, so I have a feeling he'll end up getting picked up from a buddy and go hang out with friends and do things eighteen year olds do. lol

Oh yes! Bonus days off school were always something to look forward to, even when nobody could explain why we were getting the day off. I would definitely have taken advantage of that extra sleep too. Sounds like you scored some serious points with the kids!
