I do and they love me. So I think I must have taken a wrong profession. I should have been a kindergarten teacher instead. I don't get annoyed by kids and whenever I see a challenging one, I would usually find a way to make her or him calm down. I think I got that gift. They consider me a friend and not an auntie. They would tell their mom about their good friend Toni and that they want to see her again. How good are you with kids?

I am good with kids too. I had a lot of 'alaga' even when I was still in grade school and high school. They cling to me

It sounds like you really do have a gift with children. Some people can walk into a room full of kids and have them comfortable around them almost immediately, while others just seem to make them more nervous. I think children are pretty good at knowing who genuinely likes them and treats them with respect. I am usually quite good with kids, although I think patience is the biggest thing. Sometimes you just have to get down to their level and try to understand what is behind the behaviour instead of immediately getting annoyed. I can imagine being called “their good friend Toni” must be quite a compliment.

I am the same as you. Kids seek me out and I enjoy interacting with them.
