I was once there and stayed there in the cluster of houses in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by rice terraces.
It was way back in 1999 when I went here. I was not prepared physically. I was so exhausted, tired, and breathless. But it was definitely all worth it.
It is famous for the 2000-year-old amphitheater shaped rice terraces and is now a Unesco heritage site. It is almost 1,100 feet above sea level.
How I wish I could go back.
