How Was Your Labor Day?

Ours did not start out good with no water. It was out when we woke up and found out that it had been off/out since about 4 am. This got me out of cooking today and I didn't mind that at all. I did fix hamburgers this evening for dinner since the water was back on, but kept it simple since the day had been whacky. My husband is sick again with vertigo/nausea. So I'll be taking him back to the doctor tomorrow. All of the medication that he has tried so far is not working. He also has sinus issues going on, so you know he is feeling miserable. Today he stayed in bed most of the day. Needless to say I didn't get a whole lot done today. But hey, that is what tomorrow is for! How did you spend your Labor Day? Photo Credit: Public Domain

That’s tough. Sometimes it’s worse seeing your loved one sick than if you were the one sick. I had a really good day with my nieces and nephew. My sister was in the mood to talk about the cruise, and I didn’t feel so tired I had to leave the visit early. It was a really good Labor Day.

I'm glad you have a nice Labor Day! The hubby is all fixed up with meds now, so should feel much better tomorrow.

That sounds like a rough day; has his doctor been able to determine whether the sinus problems could be contributing to the vertigo?

He's always had vertigo with it hitting him once or twice a year. Never together like it is now. We hope to find out more tomorrow and get some new medicine to try also.

We don't have Labor Day in September. Ours is on the first of May and that's just it. Not a huge holiday for everyone to celebrate but just a regular one day holiday rest for everybody. Not really a big deal.

Thank you. He got some medicine and a shot today from doctor. I'll pick up the medicine later today. They were already closed when we got back to our little town and the electricity was also out.
