Hello, myLot!
This morning I said:
If I don't get called into work today, I will go shopping, and then do some reading to finish the book I'm reading and do some yarn doll stuff. I need to water the plants, too.
Well, soon after I posted that, I looked at my phone and saw a text from my boss about coming in.
So, I grabbed all of my stuff and headed out the door so that I could catch the bus to take me to the train station so I could catch the train.
I covered for other teachers' lunches today. I got to spend a lot of time in the toddler room, which was fun.
It was crazy hot today, so we never even let the children outside to play.
Now at a little after nine p.m. it's 75 degrees Farenheit.
On my way home, I got a text from the lady at church who usually gives me a ride to Bible study, asking if I wanted her to pick me up. I told her that at the time I was in Rohnert Park (the town where I work) waiting for the train to take me home. Somewhere along the line of our text conversation she said she'd pick me up at the train station here in town. At first she thought it would be down town, but I had to tell her where the train station was on this side of town.
After she went the wrong way, she finally found me, and we went straight to church. As usual, we had a good dinner as well as Bible study.
Once I got home, my computer was refusing to let me on line for a bit, so I was a bit shocked when it finally let me on.
Right now I am wiped, and I am going to head to bed.
While I need the work, I would not mind staying home tomorrow--but if I do get called into work, I'll at least earn some money.
Now, I need to finish getting ready for and head to bed.
"Good night" from here, and I will "see" you myLotters when it's tomorrow here in California!
