In Indonesia it is a custom that we we eat fritter, raw chili (Bird’s Eye Chili) will be served to0. The chili is hot even the color is green. but it is okay if you can not bear the hot taste and then you don not eat the chili. just leave it.
In general Indonesia people love spicy food.

Bird's eye? is that literal eye?
The photo looks delicious, but I am not into spicy, mild spicy will do hehehee.

Because in horizontal position it looks like a bird eye. But Indonesia we call it "cabe rawit"
