I went to the library, when I get off the bus I walk the rest of the way. The road in front of the library is divided by a concrete part with trees. On the side furthest away from the library, there were random obvious car parts and pieces of metal strewn on the ground. There were cop cars and and ambulance. I had to weave my way through all this to get to the library. There was one guy sitting on the ground, fortunately he looked okay, but I got the impression that he was the one in the car that had left debris on the ground. By the time I got there the rest of the car had been cleared away. I'm glad the guy was okay. I got my books--two shorties this time, I'm going to have to order a longer one or two next time--and weaved back through all the cops, etc. to get to the bus stop. On the corner where I had to wait to cross the street to get to the bus stop, the cops were talking to a young lady (looked in her late teens/early twenties). She seemed okay too--assuming she'd been part of the accident. Oh, when I was walking out the front door, a paper dropped to the ground (they always stick notices in the doorjamb). Said paper informed me that I still owed $4.08 on my last rent payment. I went to the office and asked about it, and wasn't sure at first how they wanted me to pay it (because I've been late paying rent a few times--literally--like, three times in the seven years I've lived here-- they don't allow me to pay via their website anymore. On the bus ride home from the library, I stopped and went to the store, but duh--uh, I couldn't get money orders for lower than $500. So I went back to the office, and the young lady I spoke to went to her supervisor, and they allowed me to pay by personal check. When I got home I turned on the computer, did a couple of surveys, and now it's 12:32 by my computer clock, and I should get something for lunch, then do Bible study. I hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

Glad that guy was okay, accidents like that always give me a lil scare even reading about it. And $4.08, seriously, the rent math be doing the most sometimes lol. Hope your bible study and lunch go good, sounds like a busy but decent day.

I know money is money, but a little over four dollars seems like an awfully picky thing to do when it could just be added to next month.
