I went to get the mail, which was a survey, a political ad, and and a newspaper type ad. When I got home, two of the maintenance guys were on the side of my building--one of them in the apartment above me, where my neighbors had recently moved out. They were going to wash something, and the guy on the ground said something to me about moving my patio furniture so it wouldn't get went from run-off.
I didn't know if he meant for me to do it, or if he was going to do it. I made a joke about watering my plants, and he said, "Oh, you want us water your plants?" So he went over the patio wall and moved my little table with my four plant pots on it to where the run off would fall on them.
I wondered if they were pre-rinsing the building--washing off bird droppings and what not--to make it ready for the painters that are doing the annual re-painting of the buildings in the complex--but then wouldn't they just spray the outside of the building? Not sure why they had to be in the upstairs apartment. The gal that lived up there had a cat, but I don't know what it would have done to warrant a hosing down in the apartment.
Anyway, some of my plants are getting a bit of water.
That's two empty apartments in my eight-apartment building. I keep hoping friendly people who own friendly dogs will move into them.
Hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land, and that you got something good in the mail!
