Firefighters and police rescue a man who fell into an empty underground tank

A subcontractor who was working in an empty underground tank that was located in a nearby construction site in Wake County North Carolina on Wednesday morning needed to be rescued when he was hit by a piece of equipment that fell into the tank where he was working.
The injured man was about 60 feet underground at the time of the accident when firefighters, police officers and officials with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) came to his rescue.
The injured man was taken by an ambulance to a local hospital by Wake EMS to be treated for his injuries.
Hopefully the injured man will make a full and speedy recovery. The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

That's too dangerous, I am glad he was rescued. 60 feet underground? is not a joke! I wonder how scary he was when he got hit.
