I kind of know Earl Spencer through work. He knows me by my first name as I write about our local sports team , Northants County Cricket Club, of which he was Honorary president for a while. The news today of exerts from his new book about Diana have earned world-wide attention. He has basically made comments and quotes that backed up what most people believe that Prince Charles never loved Diana and an arranged marriage to produce an attractive child., Spencer has said ghastly things about her when she died, like Prince Charles told Diana he didn't love her the night before the wedding. Or that Prince Charles had a homosexual crush on his valet ( In England that's not a Puerto Rican that parks your car) .
True or not this is bad news for the now ailing King George. It will drive that wedge just coming loose between Harry and the King right back in again. It was cruel by Earl Spencer but the Palace have responded to the exerts in The Daily Mail and that has ramped up the publicity for the book, the plan, of course.

That's kind of a wild connection to have honestly, knowing him through the cricket club. Yeah this timing seems way too convenient not to be intentional, bad press is still press for book sales. Rough for the royals though, especially with things already shaky between Harry and his dad.

Elizabeth reigned longer maybe somehow she really knows how to obey and accept some of the sound advices of her council and teaching of her grandma and parents. that's all I can say. I am sad for Diana and what happened to her family, I hope her children will be okay in the future, and I don't think Harry married the right woman, he is very disrespectful to the crown where he grew up. I hope William and Kate can rule properly soon.
Charles? I hope he find peace and forgiveness in his heart for himself. I hope Camilla will not betray him, and I hope he pass the throne to William in good faith. I think his kids were so wounded because of his past actions and decisions and choosing Camilla.
