Is everything getting more expensive again?

I keep seeing news about energy prices going up again, and it got me wondering how much people are actually noticing it in everyday life. Fuel, electricity, heating, groceries and even the cost of getting things delivered can all be affected when energy becomes more expensive. It is one of those things that can eventually reach almost everyone, even if we do not follow the financial news. Are you noticing your everyday expenses going up again? Or have your costs stayed about the same where you live? I am curious to hear what people are experiencing in different countries. Sometimes it is interesting to see whether something that is a big story in the news is actually affecting ordinary people's lives.

Yeah honestly I've noticed it, groceries and gas both feel heavier on the wallet lately. Even little deliveries add up more than they used to. It's one of those things you don't clock till you check the receipt twice.

Yes, costs continue to rise. I don’t really know of any place they haven’t. I noticed Amazon is having Prime Day next month, and I imagine people will be looking very intently on what they can find for sale. After all, the price of gas is not going down any time soon.

Our grocery budget has more than doubled since the pandemic. It's crazy. While we are fortunate to still have enough to get by (and with a little savings intact), I feel the pinch. I buy mostly what's on sale and what's in season.

I know very well because our family owns a gas station and a grocery store. So yeah, we are very much aware how much the prices are increasing and they increase non stop. The price of gas increases almost every week here. And the basic necessities, like milk, canned goods, biscuits, etc....We just feel sorry for the people.

Even little things have gone up. Stuff that used to cost me a couple dollars now costs like five. Corporate greed at it's finest.
