It Just Makes no Sense

Here I am all alone, a recluse by choice and no one at all to be with me. I miss my hubby more each day, but I know I have to be patient; the Lord will decide when we can meet again.
However, that is not the subject of this post. I have a friend from childhood who lives in Canada. She has a husband and two children. Unfortunately, she does not have her health. She needs a walker to get around, help for breathing, and some heart issues.
Now, would you not think that her husband would be there to love and support her? She says he is constantly angry, and if she cries, he gets even madder. She has him, but he is of no help whatsoever. So I say it just makes no sense I lose a loving and caring husband and she has to suffer with hers. They just had their 30th wedding anniversary.

He sounds frustrated and fed up. It isn't right, but it is hard to live with a chronically ill person. It might be better for them not to be together at this point, or maybe at least to take a break from each other. I am sorry you and your friend are going through this, but in your case..you don't have to, it is what you are choosing.

@RasmaSandra She might have to figure out what else she can do. At least she would have peace. It is awful to be in that situation. He is telling her by his behavior he has no sympathy for her.

@snowy22315 her son is getting married soon and she also has a daughter, She cannot live on her own and is not financially secure, If only the husband would stop and think about what he is adding to her burdens, He is one of those lucky guys as he gets older still handsome with no major compalints,

@TheHorse she tries so hard. Put in a nice post of them for their 30th anniversary on FB. Still nothing is happening, and she even still has her mom, who is in a nursing home in Maine, but as she says, her mom calls her but is getting weirder as time goes on she just cannot catch a break. The only good thing that is going for her now is that her son will be getting married soon,

Crabbiness can be a symptom of metabolic disorder. That's just a side note. She definitely deserves better.

@jnrdutton I feel so sorry for her but she is in Canada far from me, If we lived in the same state and close by I would try to at least keep her from despair and tell the MR to shut up.

That's so unfair honestly, some people get a partner right there and still end up alone in it. Your friend deserve so much better than that, health struggles are hard enough without someone making it worse. Sending love to you both, life really don't make sense sometimes.

Sadly it doesn't seem like he has much empathy for her and that perhaps they are on working together as a team.
Nobody wills poor health on themselves, that is something that we should all keep in mind, regardless of any other circumstances.
I hope that he can work through his issues so that they can enjoy their time left together, nobody knows how long we are here for.
