Snake fruit

Have you ever heard snake fruit? It is tropical fruit from Indonesia. In Indonesia we call it "salak". It is called snake fruit due to the skin of the fruit that look like snake skin/scale. The taste of the fruit is very different with other fruit. But we like it to eat raw.

That looks scary to me...skin really looks like snake skin.. I wouldn't eat that

Never heard of it and this is the first time I'm even seeing it. It does look like snake skin.
