There Have Been Freaks and Weirdos in Louisville, KY All Weekend

From Thursday through Sunday (today) there has been what is called the "Louder Than Life" festival in Louisville, Kentucky. It is a Heavy Metal music festival that started here in 2014. It's been held annually with a few exceptions due to COVID in 2020, weather/flooding cancellations, etc. Last year there were 240,000 attendees. Some of the MANY groups performing/have performed include: Kid Rock Papa Roach Five Finger Death Punch Volbeat A Day to Remember Bring Me the Horizon Buckcherry I don't really understand the logistics of it or how long each band plays, but more than 100 groups perform over the 4-day festival. Now, it's been funny as a local resident to see all the "weird and different" people at our local gas stations and such. They're all wearing black t-shirts with heavy metal band names on them. Many of them have multi-colored hair spiked up in mohawks on top of their heads. I can't even count the number of tattoos and piercings. I don't judge these people and have no problem with them. It's just noticeably different when they're in town.
