If you are in your room watching TV with your TV moved to the side of the room away from the other bedroom walls at a volume low enough to where you can almost not hear it and you are then texted that your tv is too loud.
What would you think? Wouldn't that upset you, when you then decide to just turn it off and you are then told your being dramatic. Makes sense to me to turn it off ! Why burn up your TV run power when you can't hear it?

Can you attach headphones to it and listen to it?
I would be pissed off with someone who sent me a text about my TV being loud when it wasn't loud at all

@Ineeddentures She said her son, my grandson was getting upset that he couldn't sleep because my TV was too loud! Then she said today because I mentioned it that I was being dramatic!

@RasmaSandra I replied no ,my TV model doesn't comply with them. And besides my mother was over watching too.

That's really terrible. I would be really pissed when somebody tells me that.
I would really find it difficult to stay in the place where people would complain about what I do or what I enjoy doing.

That would annoy me too honestly, like you already did the considerate thing by moving it and keeping it low. Turning it off after that isn't dramatic, it's just you saying why bother if it's basically pointless anyway. People calling it dramatic when you're the one compromising is kinda backwards.
