What's on the boob tube?

*Steel Magnolias* just ended about ten minutes ago, and even though I could have very easily put on a movie and used it as background noise, I decided to put on *Worst Roommate Ever* instead. It’s a true-crime docuseries about people who discover that the person they’re living with—whether it’s a roommate, significant other, or someone else close to them—is not at all who they thought they were. A lot of the stories involve murder, but there are also other disturbing criminal cases. What makes it especially unsettling is that these are people who opened their homes and lives to someone they thought they could trust, only to find out there was a much darker side to them. Every once in a while, I get a wild hair and want to watch some true crime. I used to be pretty bad about it and watched a LOT of it, but I don’t watch it or get quite as into it as I used to. I think I’ve gotten to the point where sometimes I just want something a little creepy and unsettling to watch before bed. Anyway, that’s what I’m watching tonight.
