It's a blazing afternoon

"It's 2:01 p.m. 30 degrees Celsius, blazing sun and not exactly my kind of weather. I just got settled at work ... power came back around dawn so I charged my devices.
I woke up to online gigs, got those out of the way, checked my messages on MyLot, and did a few things there. After that, I cleaned the house, made a quick market run, got back around 9:30am or 10am. .. saw more gigs posted so I jumped on those for about an hour.
My mum called while I was working, couldn't pick up at first, but called her back. She said she sent me an important WhatsApp post about AI that I'll learn from, so I'm definitely going to read it.
I also asked her about her blood sugar. It's 105, which is normal, so that was good news. I'm still here at work, probably grabbing lunch in a couple of hours, got a few more things to do online.
I can hear loud music nearby, sounds like a party. But it's Saturday, so that's expected. I'll update you if anything else comes up. Have yourself a wonderful Saturday and enjoy the rest of your day.

Glad your mom’s blood sugar is normal. I heard loud music all last weekend because there was a heavy metal music festival in town. 
30C/95F is pretty hot. It’s “perfect” weather here, mid-70s (24C) and sunny. I’m having lunch now, then I’m going to a park nearby to explore it.

I hope the party doesn’t last through the night and keep you up.
It’s raining here today. I don’t think we will go to my son’s football game due to that. We went to everyone the last two years but since he isn’t actually in high school anymore and this is his job I don’t feel bad missing one.
