Dinner and french fries

Tonight my mom and I just ate simple sandwiches and frozen french fries. She likes Gortons Crunchy Fillet Fish and I wanted a hamburger so I bought hamburger buns. So my mom decided she was to make her fish sandwiches. I fixed the french fries and it was like they would never cook. I baked them for another 10 minutes and they still wouldn't bake well! My mom said my brother-in-law as that issue with fries a lot! He has many of different brands and still has that problem. Have you had problems with fries like that!
