Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

After dinner we had a few errands to run, he child wanted a milkshake while we were out so we brought him one back. I asked she she child and she said no, but that she wanted a cake mix. So I got her a cake mix.
When we got home she asked me to make her homemade vanilla ice cream. I didn't really want to. But she's a little bit spoiled. So is her brother. So I just got done getting the ice cream in the churner and letting it churn for about an hour.
So that's my excitement for tonight. What is everyone else up to?

Many years ago we had an electric ice cream machine and it was fun making ice cream. I remember making vanilla.
