Went to AmVets, but didn't get to play Trivia. By the time the one lady showed up the bar was busy and it is hard to play with so much going on. Anyway, the one woman who was SUPPOSED to bring us Pineapple Pizza texted me and said she wasn't coming. SOOO I stopped at Subway and got us some Nachos and Italian Protein Pockets. The bartender had never had the Protein Pockets. She loved it. The Nachos are NEW..It was really really good, but kind of weird. The cheese stuck the chips together to where you could hardly get a chip. But the Sirachi sauces they used were awesome. On top of the chips and cheese they put really thin pieces of Onion and fresh diced Tomatoes. If they could change the cheese or not leave it in the oven so long, I think it would be better. The lady who was late brought a home made Lemon pie. It was sooooo delicious! And she also brought Pork Skins that you heat up in the microwave. They were good. I will have to go to Grocery Outlet and get some. No Carb Snack! Didn't win on the pull tabs but had a lot of fun and a full tummy! I ate the Protein Pocket for supper, and Tom had him some Viena Sausages with cheese, crackers, and hot sauce.

I saw a commercial for those nachos and was wondering if they were worth it. Would you recommend them to someone else even with the cheese like it was?

Yes! Really tasty. The bartender and I shared an order of the Nachos and I was full. Didn't even eat my Protein Pocket. Saved it for supper, and had enough of the Pocket for a small lunch.

Sounds like a fun night even without the trivia. Homemade lemon pie is hard to beat, and the nachos with sriracha sound good besides the cheese gluing the chips together. I might have to try those pork skins too.
