Yes, this is not the last day of the month. Yes, there’s still one song referencing New York City to present. However, I’m on the road right now, and there’s no telling what I might see tomorrow. Therefore, I’m going to introduce the October countdowns a little early. We’re going west. If we’re going to spend a month in New York City, we’re going to give equal time to the west coast. That means TWO countdowns: one for Los Angeles, and one for Hollywood! Some of these songs mention both L.A. and Hollywood, so I had to pick a side for them. That usually depended on if I had room for an artist on one countdown but not the other. You already know what’s #1 in the L.A. countdown (and if you don’t, you just don’t know me ). But you’ll get to wade through the other 30 songs before we get there. Meanwhile, the teaser. I’m not much of a Doors fan, but I don’t turn this song off…especially since I don’t hear it every 45 minutes on the radio.
