Going West, Young Man (Part 2)

Hollywood is just a suburb of L.A., but it’s a world away in a lot of ways. That’s why it’s getting its own separate celebration next month. After all, you never hear anyone bragging about being in a Los Angeles movie. As I said, some of these songs have references to both places, so I employed countdown creator license as to which went where. So, after we finish up in New York tomorrow, we’ll jump on a musical plane for L.A. Hope to see you there in first class. Here’s the teaser, Eric Burdon and War, dreaming “I was in a Hollywood movie.” Hope this makes up for not using Burdon with the Animals’ version of “House of the Rising Sun” back in the New Orleans countdown.
