It was a good visit with mother-in-law today

Hubby and I went to see his mother at the memory care center, and then took her out for lunch
She was very pleasant and in a good mood and she didn’t complain about anything at any time
She knew who we were to look at us, but she couldn’t tell us what our names were and then when I showed her a photo of herself like from a month ago, she had no idea who she was looking at in the picture
But like it is for people with Alzheimer’s, it’s one day at home and today was a good day for her
I always include a pink photo with my posts about my mother-in-law because her favorite color is pink

Thank God my dad still recognize everybody, and can converse as well. He has been on Dementia meds though..since the beginning..about 6 years ago.

It was a good day …..although she couldn’t remember names or recognise herself , she didn’t get upset or annoyed ….
