Trying to Make a New Friend

It’s been a while since I’ve tried to make a new friend. I’m out of practice. There’s this lady at the memory care facility who works as a receptionist. I’ll call her T. I’m guessing T is about 10 years younger than me. She’s very friendly, has a kind face, and seems like fun. We always talk for a few minutes when I’m there to visit mother in law. So today I told her about the music bingo and invited her to meet me there sometime if she was interested. I gave her my name and phone number and told her that I hoped I wasn’t being too pushy and that if she didn’t text me I would get the hint. She laughed and said she’d think about it.
