Does anyone know about a hurricane in Florida the past few weeks that has caused tropical storms along the east coast USA?
An insurance company has told a family member that there was one and that is what is causing the hold up getting a company in to do some repairs in their home.

@dfollin — Arthur, Bertha, and Edouard are the three Atlantic tropical storms that have made landfall in the US this year.
Now, there have been three (?!) hurricanes that have impacted Hawaii (I was stationed in Hawaii, and I can tell you how odd that is), and Polo came ashore in the Baja Peninsula of Mexico, but those are Pacific storms.

Not sure about this one myself, but the National Hurricane Center website lists all the recent storms so you could check there. Delays like that are pretty common after a big storm because everyone is trying to book repairs at the same time. Hope your family member gets sorted soon.
