I have this big can of mandarin oranges sitting here, and I finally opened it today. I told myself I will just have a few. Well… of course, I had more than a few. Those little orange slices are sweet, juicy, and so easy to eat. I am wondering what can I do with canned mandarin oranges? Eat them straight from the can, add them to a dessert, mix them into a fruit salad, or do you have some secret recipe?

I have never tasted mandarin oranges. In fact, Indian oranges are available here in plenty.

I’ve added them to jello in the past. My kids used to love them but so often they are sour so it’s hit or miss with buying a can.

Oh, really? I haven't tried a sour one yet. That's a shame

I had a salad once at a restaurant with chicken, mandarin oranges, and blueberries. The dressing was a nice vinaigrette. It was delicious!

Ha, same thing happens to me, a few turns into half the can real quick. I like putting them in a cold salad with some cottage cheese or in a jello, it's kind of old school but so good. Also tastes great chopped up over chicken or on top of yogurt.
