No Turkey for my baguette

Hey, it’s Thursday….that means it’s shopping with Mom day …..
Up early and off out to catch the bus. We met as usual at the car park at the supermarket.
I was early so able to spend time wombling for receipts…..
Mom arrived and we started shopping …all went well, until …..
NO TURKEY !
Oh no !
I had to choose something else to have on my baguette …..
I chose beer ham.
It was lovely to be fair …..
Are you upset when the stores don’t have something that you are looking forward to ?

@traceyjayne I take the huff when that happens and have to remind myself that it’s not the fault of the girl on the checkout. Disappointing for you that the turkey’s been all gobbled up.

No , the lady on the deli counter ( another Tracey ….where do they find us all ! )….is really nice, Mom and I see her most weeks and she always has a chat with us.
She did go and look ‘ in the back ‘ for more Turkey , but there wasn’t any.

@AmbiePam it is . I admit I do look forward to it each week. It’s the only supermarket that has a deli counter now so it’s not like can go somewhere else !
