I was involved in the weirdest study last afternoon

This was a game online you played with others. It had time limits and these annoying bells and buzzers went off. You had to describe various geometric shapes with pieces missing or other shapes sticking out of them. We were in dseperate groups initially and then combined to one when in first group..we developed a kind of shorthand to describe the shapes. Then when groups were mixed harder to do..Anyway, 20 bucks for 45 minutes made it well worth it.I wouldn't say it was fun, but it was interesting. Any offbeat user testing or studies you have been involved in?

I don't think I have ever done anything like this before
I would remember if I had
For 20 bucks I would be willing to spend 45 minutes of my time doing it

Yeah, something different. A moderate challenge is good for aging brains

I took a survey one time that involved all kinds of gross spiders..it was the strangest thing. I still don't know what that was all about.

Haha that sounds kind of stressful with all those bells and buzzers going off. Making up your own shorthand with the group is actually pretty cool though, and twenty bucks for 45 minutes is a decent deal. I never did anything like that, but now I kind of wish I did.

There is a lot of user testing you can get involved in online and for some of them the pay is decent This wasn't taken on one of those kinds of sites, but they do have different activities
