Neither are they a drain to taxpayers. You don't have to feed or house them or pay someone to 'babysit' them.
And if we would simply go back to chopping off heads there would be far fewer botched executions.
Not cruel and unusual, but quick and painless.

It's true. The state of California supported the comfortable prison lifestyle of Charles Manson for almost 50 years.
