Despite lack of time I try to be as active here as I can. To be active here means to respond to many posts and comment back on comments thereon, post discussions etc.
I post few discussions. I can't respond to many posts just because they are long. So I prefer to respond to short posts.
What is your choice?? Do you like to respond to short posts or long ones??

Well, because I have the time, I respond to any and all. My preference is one that is in between. Too short, and it doesn’t feel that thoughtful. Too long, and I start to wonder about them getting to the point (unless it is REALLY interesting). But overall, if I can understand what they are talking about (sometimes I can’t), I’ll answer. But again, it’s because I have the time. You do not, and that is understandable.

Mostly it is a short post to which I respond.
Yet as was the norm in the past (5 years or more back) when I used to had more time, I was equally responding to both short & long posts.
Now if something is quite interesting, I still respond to long posts.

Thank you. Most people like to read and respond to short posts. They don't have time. I like short posts, too.

Shorter posts that are direct and I could relate to. There are too short posts I avoid to comment on coz I don't see it worth of discussing. After all, mylot is a discussion site, not a blog site nor a social media.
The post should be catchy enough and worth discussing. but most people tend to use mylot as their diary or a site to write about their novels or short stories. They tend to forget the very reason why mylot was created in the very first place.
