I tried... / myLot

Apart from my being so tired from this week, I got a few things done. I went out on the patio to read for a bit--but that was a mistake--it was way too hot. Looking at the weather widget in the corner of my screen it says 95 degrees F.

Yeah--not going out again too soon...for goodness' sake, the widget says 96 degrees F now.

I tried working on dolls, but was a bit too tired to focus. After gluing things into the pictured dolls' hands, I tried making a "Googly Pal" but messed up with the glue and decided to quit there before I messed anything else up. I am tired from this past week, and while I was working on dolls I got a text from my boss saying I'd be there from 9-6 on Monday.

Good for the paycheck, not so good for the rest of me.

Hopefully it will cool down a bit in a few hours. I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

Maybe you just need a break from the dolls for a bit. And hopefully it will cool down there.

Our high was only 88 today, but the humidity was horrible. I was drenched after feeding the chickens late this morning, watering some plants, and getting the dog water--which was just about 12-15 minutes. Chicken water will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon. I came home from my daughter's very tired and slept late this morning. I'm still tired and sore too. Ugg.

Well, I’m glad your paycheck will be healthier, but I know you’re so tired. You have Oklahoma weather today, and we must have California weather because it’s only 68 degrees here right now. It won’t be for long though!

Ugh 96 degrees is way too hot to sit outside, I would have gone back in right away too. Sometimes quitting the glue stuff before you mess it up is the smart move when you're that tired. Hope Monday goes fast and you get some rest before then.
