Sunday Supper

We go through phases of him making his mother's recipe for scalloped potatoes. She was good friends with a caterer and he taught her how to make big batches of it and yet still maintain all of the delicious flavour. I do not do well with the mandolin slicer, so he is in charge of that dish. The ham, cake and frosting.....that is all me. Sure wish that I could send you a plate virtually.

@snowy22315 Thought that I may as well get used to the over heated feeling with having the oven on for hours, since I have to do that next Sunday when we celebrate Thanksgiving.

Yes, it sounds like it was a chili eating weekend. Here it is warm, it will cool off in a few hours, but with the oven running, it is 26C in here. If it were not for cooling off later, I'd have the a/c on. I'm such a weather wimp.

It was a small black forest ham, I baked it.

I hope that it is yummy. I just put the leftovers away into the refrigerator. Have a good evening @JohnRoberts.

We like to eat early, and we just finished. It was very delicious, right down to the cake with buttercream frosting for dessert.
