When Mushrooming You Meet an Oak

@lovebuglena has gone to Cape Cod mushrooming. She reminded me of a very funny story. I have written about my love for oak trees and how some of them I gave names to. Well, one time in the wet, damp autumn of Latvia my husband, Martin and I went mushrooming. The forest was usually full of mushrooms and we always enjoyed outselves. Well, one time I was bending down to cut a mushroom by its stem when somehow my foot slipped on the wet leaves. There was an incline, and I just fell sitting down and slid down the incline. I stopped right in front of an oak tree. Well, me and oaks have always been friends, and this one appeared to be a Max to me. To get my breath back after my slide, Max and I exchange some pleasantres. Please, don't laugh too much. Suddenly from above me I heard Martin. What happened to you? I just slid down the incline, I shouted back. Well, get up, and I'll help you get to the top. OK me and Max were just getting to know each other. Martin looked at the situation and realized I was just in front of an oak tree. He did not say a word but came down, helped me up, and as we were heading up, he looked back and said See you around Max.. Martin always understood me well.
