She's going through that phase again...

Every time Danie is in heat, she goes through that phase when she would have a "false pregnancy" and have a surrogate baby.
She would take one of her toys and treat it like her pup. She would bring it anywhere and everywhere with her. Nobody could touch it except the person she loves, that's me.
She brings it to me for safe keeping. When somebody else takes it or brings it somewhere, she'd search for it and bring it back to me.
Sometimes she'd hide it under the pillow, not wanting Yuki to take it. And she cries when she couldn't find it.
You may find it cute that she does that, but it's stressful for her. That's why I take extra effort to comfort her during this period.

She won't. She knows exactly where to hide it.
I just want her to get over this phase soon. It will last for a couple of days. She will be crying and whining a lot, especially when I'm not around.

She cries a lot when I'm away too. The moment she's out of my lap she cries right away. I am the only one who can give her comfort.

I discovered it only the first time Danie was in heat. I consulted the vet and she told me what it was. Yuki never went through that
It happens every single time except when she was actually pregnant. But during the time that she wasn't, she would go through it each year. Then it stoped when she was 6. Now, Danie is 8 and it happened again.
