Lessons to learn after the Nepal flood fiasco

October 10, 2026 6:01am CST
Quite a few days ago, Nepal was at the receiving end of one of the worst ever disasters in human history. Many people from various countries had to pay with their lives. This flood raises questions about the way humans are fiddling with nature. Nature will spare no one when it gets furious. We should all take a firm stand after this cataclysm. We should not try to develop houses at all places. Places with high altitude are not ideal for housing projects. Do you agree or disagree?

It seems to be the glaciers are melting just enough to lose their grip on ever steepling mountain sides and slip down

Some countries seem to ignore common sense and do what they want with the hope worse things won’t come. Unfortunately, “worse” things always come.

Agree with this one. We keep building where we shouldnt and then act surprised when nature pushes back. Hope the families there get the help they need soon.
