Future of football

Football, which is also alluded to as soccer, faces a different future. Spain captured the World Cup, but new teams are making steady progress. With the advent of new teams, football is going to become more popular and crowd-pleasing. Teams from Asia are lagging behind these days in the context of football. They need to up the ante and make their presence felt on the global stage. People are sometimes sick and tired of seeing only European or South American teams grabbing World Cups. I reckon that FIFA has a lot of work to deal with to make football a truly global sport. Just sitting idle is not going to yield pleasant outcomes. I also feel that FIFA needs to make use of cutting-edge technology more and more.

I se e Infantino is going to offer a share of 2 billion for 'additional funding' to the FIFA countries,. Sounds like a bribe to me

I have been into football for many years... in 1998 we qualified for the first and only time, so far. what has disturbed me about football is the current wash of corruption... never before has it been like this

Agree that it would be nice to see some new winners for a change. Asian teams are getting better though, Japan and South Korea already surprised a few big teams. FIFA should spend more on grassroots stuff too, that is where real growth starts.
