L.A. Song: L.A. in the Sunshine

It’s a 70s day in Southern California! Not only did our Hollywood song come from that era, but we turn to Los Angeles proper with another song from the 70s and a band that you probably remember from their 70s hits. Let’s take off with this one! L.A. in the Sunshine - Little River Band And of course, every time I travel to Australia in song, I have to give a shoutout to our great myLotter from Down Under, @JudyEv ! Because I don’t think of Australia without her. This was Little River Band’s breakthrough album in America. It contained the hits “Help Is on Its Way” and “Happy Anniversary.” (Oh, and Picky Wedia has the recipe for a “Diamantina cocktail”: rum, condensed milk, and an emu egg. Goes great with Vegemite, right? ) Little River Band had some terrific songs in that era of their greatest popularity. I certainly enjoyed them. Hope you do, too.
