Too cool for a swim. Is Autumn officially here?

I went to the pool last night. It was 76 F. I noticed that the sun was setting a bit further to the left (South). The wind came up. I watched tree tops swaying. I felt a chill. I decided not to jump in. And so Fall is here. How is the weather where you live?

Days are still warm here. 32 to 35 C. Yet nights are getting more pleasant and give an early winter like feel although mercury is between 22 and 24 C.

It’s 87 F right now so I guess this is fall? Why they close swimming pools in Oklahoma this time of year, I’ll never understand. Except for January and February, it would be perfectly find to swim all year.

I’m curious whether or not the outdoor pool and Malta is going to be heated because the outside air temperature is going to be about 76 It’s in the 60s in Louisville today and going to rain all weekend
