One clap of thunder, but power still held.

George and I are okay. We just got a line of thunderstorms come through qick and fast. Part of what's left behind after that hurricane made landfall. I heard a loud crack over my head, almost like an explosion and I was worried it was going to knock out the power (cracks of thunder like that usually do) but we're all fine. Storms suck, and as April knows (or anyone who's been through a hurricane or natural disaster), repair and clean up can take a week or more.

We are supposed to start getting some serious rain tonight, but all there have been today is sprinkles. I think I will be in bed when the worst of the rain hits.
